FFA CORNER 2017-2018
Hi my name is Austin, and I am a sophomore at Chillicothe High School. I am a Greenhand and am working toward my Chapter FFA Degree. My SAE program consists of a placement job of working as a hired hand at Wilson Farms and my ownership SAE of baling hay. My favorite FFA activity is Mud Volleyball because we placed last year, and, hopefully, we do just as good this year. FFA has helped me by giving me knowledge in the agricultural field and giving me a new perspective on working in the agriculture field, as well as teaching me how to run a farm efficiently and productively. Hi my name is Jamacin, and I attend Chillicothe High School. I have my Greenhand FFA Degree but am currently working toward my Chapter FFA Degree. FFA is by far one of my favorite classes of the day. For my SAE, I have my own trapping business. I chose trapping because I love being a good conservationist and waking up early to get the job done; the only problem is sometimes waking up early for something is not as fun as others. I will continue to be a part of agriculture and enjoy the fun memories to come from this class.
My name is Josie, and I am a sophomore at Chillicothe High School. I have earned my Greenhand Degree and am currently working toward my Chapter Degree. My SAE project is raising and showing market hogs from March to the beginning of August. My favorite FFA activities are Mud Volleyball and Barnwarming because I get to be with my friends like a family and have fun. FFA has impacted my life by getting me out of my comfort zone a little by being on the knowledge team. It has also impacted my life by giving me the knowledge and opportunities that other school experiences could not give me. FFA Corner 2017...
Hello my name is Dylan, and I am a sophomore at Chillicothe High School. I currently hold the Greenhand FFA Degree, but I'm working toward my Chapter FFA Degree. My SAE consists of Racing Motocross and raising chickens. My favorite FFA activity is Mud Volleyball because it's a fun time to get muddy with permission and not care about ruining anything. FFA has helped me get to know some of my classmates and helps me keep track of my money. Also, it has helped me learn more about agriculture and developing leadership skills to become a better leader. My name is Samuel James. I am a sophomore at Chillicothe High School. I live on a farm north of Chula, which is family owned and operated. My SAE are my steers that I show at the county fair. My favorite activity is Barnwarming. I am more into the fundraising than the dancing (I can't dance). When I was very young, my dad talked to me about being the chapter president. Ever since then, I have wanted to be in FFA. I did not know that I would enjoy my ag classes, but I feel like I have learned more here than anywhere else.
My name is Cameron, and I am a Sophomore at Chillicothe High School. I have earned my Greenhand Degree and am working toward my Chapter Degree. My SAE is buying market hogs and raising them to market through exchange of labor as well as doing yard work and cleaning for extra money. My favorite FFA activity is Barnwarming because we learn dances all week and do various activities the night of the dance. FFA has influenced me by showing me responsibility and teaching me work ethic for future jobs and everyday life. My name is Montana. I am a sophomore at Chillicothe High School. I have earned my Greenhand Degree and am working toward my Chapter Degree. My SAE project is buying, raising, and showing market hogs. I also buy hogs to show and then breed them. My favorite FFA activities are mud volleyball and Barnwarming. FFA has impacted my life by teaching me about leadership and bettering my knowledge of agriculture.
