New
Technicians Are Needed
A+
Students

New technicians are
needed more than ever. The diesel engine is the workhorse powering
the nation's trucks, buses, farm and heavy equipment because it
delivers more power and is more durable than its gasoline-burning
counterpart. Diesel-powered engines are also becoming more
prevalent in light vehicles, including pickups and other work
trucks.
Career Opportunities:
- Technician
- Parts Person
- Sales
- Engineering
- Training
- Design
- Management
Technicians must be flexible,
adapting to customers' needs and new technologies. Those who have
the skills in math, problem solving, computers, and public
relations are in high demand, and these skills are needed every
day in a diesel career.
