Collision Repaired Cars to be Sold at Auction

A surplus was declared for the Grand River Technical School at Tuesday
night's Chillicothe R-2 Board of Education meeting. The surplus included the GRTS Building Trades House and the GRTS
Collision Program Rebuilt Cars.
The GRTS house is a ranch style house located at 16 Waters Edge Drive. It has three bedrooms,
two and a half bathrooms and features approximately 2,050 square feet with an unfinished walkout
basement. The house has an open floor plan with stucco exterior on the front and two sides and
concrete board siding on the back. Inside, there is custom Knotty Alder cabinets with custom trim
throughout. The inside also includes all new kitchen appliances, a main floor laundry room, and a
master bathroom with a jetted tub, shower and two vanities. The house includes a two-car garage
with an automatic opener; a 12-foot-by-12-foot deck; a direct vent gas fireplace in the living
room; hardwood floors in the living room, kitchen, dining room and hallways; tiled bathrooms and
laundry room; carpet in the bedrooms; and a storm shelter.
According to assistant director at
GRTS, Adam Wolf, the house
will be shown during an Open House on Sunday, June 5, 2016, from
1:00-4:00 p.m., and the auction is Wednesday, June 8. NOTE: Detail

The GRTS Collision Repair class has repaired a gray, 2013 Hyundai Elantra GLS/Limited with 5,390
miles; a gray, 2013 Chevrolet Malibu LS with 5,969 miles; a red, 2013 Kia Rio LX GDI with 9,598
miles; a gray, Chrysler 200 Limited with 23,258 miles; a maroon, 2012 Ford Fusion SE with 19,292
miles; a silver, 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt LT with 59,124 miles; and a green, 2001 Buick LeSabre
Limited with 128,354 miles. The school district will be keeping the gray 2012 Chevrolet Impala LT
with 26,214 miles that the class repaired which will replace the green Buick LeSabre at the high
auction is Tuesday, May 31, at 6:00 p.m. at the Grand River
