Congratulations to Alison Probasco, Jack Schneiter, Kortney Lavature, Fischer Shea, Jaydah Kimmis, Allie Brown, and Serenity Simpson, they are R.A.K.E. award winners. They were identified as doing the following;
Alison Probasco—At the end of the hour, a different student spilled a huge water bottle all over the floor. Ali came in, saw the spill, left the room to get paper towels, came back before the bell rang, and started cleaning up the mess. The custodian brought us a mop because there was too much of a mess. Alison took the mop and continued cleaning—all of this without being asked. She was basically done before the bell rang to start her hour.
Jack Schneiter and Kortney Lavature—When paint splattered all over the art room floor, Jack and Kortny stayed after class to clean up the mess.
Fischer Shea - Fischer noticed that my rolling standing desk was broken and offered to fix it for me.
Jaydah Kimmis—A new student was nervous. Jaydah complimented her and made her feel welcome.
Allie Brown and Serenity Simpson -I was getting to my classroom this morning and fumbled my stuff, dropped my breakfast and just was obviously having a rough morning. Serenity and Allie were so sweet. They picked up my breakfast for me, gave me warm smiles and chatted with me down the hallway. It definitely helped to reset my mood this morning!
If you see these students, feel free to congratulate them for showing high character during these instances while at Chillicothe High School!

Dear Parents/Guardians,
We are excited to announce that next week, our high school students will have the opportunity to participate in the Power of You(th) presentation. This program focuses on empowering young people to make positive, healthy choices and avoid the dangers of underage drinking and other risky behaviors.
In addition, we would like to invite you to a special Power of Parents presentation on October 16th from 5:30-6:30 PM at the Chillicothe Middle School Library. This session, led by the same expert speaker, will provide valuable insights and strategies to help you communicate effectively with your teen about making safe and responsible decisions. The Chillicothe Police Department will provide refreshments for those who attend!
We hope you can join us for this important event as we work together to support the health and well-being of our students.
