🏅 2025 CMS Hornet Relays – A Huge Success! 🐝 What an incredible day of competition! A big THANK YOU to Scott Stevens and Matt Anderson of Brookfield for running the timing and scoring systems and helping the meet run smoothly. We’re also grateful to all our visiting schools and student-athletes, as well as our amazing R-II staff and CHS student volunteers for running field events, announcing, running events, working the gate, and checking in athletes at the bullpen. 🌳🎨 Cross-Curricular Creativity! 🎨🌳 Mr. McQuinn (Art) and Mrs. Kreatz (Exploratory Ag) teamed up for an awesome hands-on project combining tree ring science and the art of printing wood rounds! Students learned about wood growth rings, the printing process, and watched a video of the burning and printing demonstration. All serious steps were done safely outside by teachers, with safety procedures explained to students. Afterward, students came inside and learned how to print their own wood round! ❤️🖤 #CMSPride #HornetsOnTop
