Diesel Technology: Diesel-powered equipment is found throughout the world. Agriculture equipment, over-the-road trucks, construction equipment, automobiles, and many marine applications are powered by diesel engines. All of these make the diesel industry a high-demand field for those with the necessary skills to fulfill the positions available.
Grand River Technical School gives students the opportunity to gain those necessary skills and obtain an entry-level diesel technology position. Students are equipped with basic knowledge of how different diesel systems operate.
If you want to become more skilled in fuel systems, engine overhaul, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and power trains, then this course can set you on a path to a career you will love.
Advanced Diesel Technology: Diesel technicians/mechanics are needed now more than ever before. The diesel engine is the driving force behind the nation's farming, trucking, busing, and heavy equipment industries. They rely on the diesel engine in their business because of the durability and increased power that it offers.
Advancing and honoring your skill as a diesel technician/mechanic is a good career move for those who are interested in advancing their entry-level position.
